The relationship between the father and his four children is tense, as he always spends his money on his own pleasure, while his children have a strained relationship, and a clear lack of understanding, because of their different personal, behavioral and cultural nature. After learning of his relationship with Al-Ghaniya, Ibn Tawfiq is revolting against his father's behavior, trying to spoil this relationship so that his father's wealth does not perish for her, but he falls in love with her, and threatens the two to end that relationship.
